Jaclyn, actress and writer, was born and raised in Chicago. The Second City is also where she began her creative career. She worked with Collaboraction and the renowned Redmoon Theatre, where she performed at TedxMidWest, Lyric Opera House Chicago, and Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.

 

It was in Chicago that Jaclyn began her modeling and TV career, performing on shows for Discovery, Fox, and The Style Network, while also starring in several commercials and print ads. She also truly shined on the dance floor while competing in national competitions with Latin Street Dance Company. She toured the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico while performing at congresses and winning championships. Her team specialized in salsa, mambo, and bachata.

Jaclyn embarked to LA, where she was classically trained, studying the methods of Stella Adler, Meisner, Groundlings and sitcom. Jaclyn can also be seen in her role of Candice on AMC ALLBLK's critically acclaimed drama series, LACE.

Realizing she had a passion for creating, she dived into writing and producing. In 2017, she wrote and produced Breach, an award winning short film that circled around the festival market. Jaclyn has trained with various show runners and wrote with Writing Pad. In 2019, she was associate producer for the Sell/Buy/Date bi-costal tour.  She writes copy for media companies, working on national campaigns and projects.

The Nellie Bly Story, released in 2020 was an original creative work and the first installment in a series featuring interviews with female figures who were ahead of their time. In The Nellie Bly Story, Jaclyn plays 14 different characters. The web series is comedic in tone and ultimately a one-woman show turned digital. Jaclyn is thrilled to be able to showcase female empowered stories that were rarely celebrated during their time.
